The Best Way To Quit Smoking – You Just Found It!

January 6th, 2011 David Comments off

So, you want to quit smoking. Or maybe someone you love has a smoking problem, and you want to help.  I’m glad you found this website, because I built it for people just like you.

You see, I’m an ex-smoker. I started at a very young age, back when all the seemingly cool people around me did it. Then I grew up, and realized that smoking wasn’t that cool after all, but the habit worsened: at one time I would often smoke 1 pack per day or more. I knew it was very unhealthy and causing discomfort to non-smokers around me, so I started looking into ways to get rid of it once and for all, but had little success: it seemed I just lacked the sufficient willpower to stop thinking about cigarettes whenever I tried to stay away from them for some time (sounds familiar)? I was almost resigned and willing to give up, when luck finally smiled on me: I found a method designed especially for people like me. I, who previously lacked the willpower to stay away from the cigarette for more than a few days, am finally free from this nasty addiction.

But enough about me, let’s talk about you.

If you’re here, chances are it is because you are committed to getting rid of the smoking habit once and for all (and if not, I hope I can persuade you to do so: read the post below this one for more on that). Maybe you, like me, have a long history in dealing with the various quit smoking methods, and nothing  seemed to work: this time it will be different, I will point you to a real and permanent solution. Maybe your decision is still fresh: if so, let me congratulate you for your decision, and show you the best way to quit smoking that will save you a lot of time and effort.

I sincerely hope you will take action today (yes, today! Tomorrow might be too late, do not procrastinate!), and I wish you a happy and healthy smoke-free life!

Best Way To Quit Smoking – Removing Negative Influences

As you may know, some people, especially among teenagers, think that smoking is cool. That’s the main reason why people start smoking very young: it’s accepted or even required among their peers, and one day they’re offered a cigarette, and if everyone is doing it, why not? Maybe it doesn’t feel or taste good, but you don’t want to feel different, so you smoke another, and anothere, until you’re addicted. I too started this way.

There was a time when I didn’t care about the fact I was a smoker: it was simply a fact of life. I only started looking for the best way to quit smoking when I had to move away from all the friends and acquaintances of my youth: suddenly I started to care more about my health, and the health of people around me.

I’m not saying that you should move away from your friend and acquaintances to quit smoking, but if smoking is a habit that you share with many of the people around you, and everyone thinks it’s normal, you shouldn’t be ashamed to look for the best way to quit smoking. Even if no one encourages you or says it’s not worth the effort, you should ignore them and carry on with your efforts.

Even better, start doing more research into the dangers of smoking, and show them to other smokers: if you can convince someone to start the journey to a smoke-free life together with you, you ’re doing them a great service, and you may be able to pool your research and effert together. It may make things easier for everyone.
